Working on a new music track
I've been working on a new trance/techno track.
The computer rebooted. Lost the project file. Can't re-create it. For the most part this is the final mix. But a few thing were needing change. It is shaping up nicely. Once it is fixed , I will post a link to it.

What a Project Manager!
So the project manager for my project has been somewhat distant. Sort of asking for things (demanding) when he feels like and simply not realizing that he's a project manager and not the manager. He is responsible for keeping the project schedule not dictating the resource's (individuals) schedule.
Today I included him in the loop about an issue where he woud like to know the progress and this task has been in the works for a little over couple of weeks and I thought he'd like to be involved. Also he might be able to use that PMP certification to some use. Instead of trying to be project manager and trying to get the things that the team needs, he chose to be confrontantional. Insinuating the I'm not doing enough to get this resolved. He starting sending emails CC'ing others asking if this was done or that was done. Whether a certain thing was tried. Little does he know that people in the lower ranks, where work gets done, actually know what they're doing. Otherwise, they would've have been promoted to middle management years ago. In the end the task was done, but a lesson was learnt: never include the project manager unless wasting the time is one's intention.

Yahoo to Microsoft....
Microsoft is obviously desperate to gain Yahoo audience or else they wouldn't have offered 62% premium on Yahoo stock. This may not necessarily indicate that Microsoft is in desperate need to get into search engine business. They're doing alright, believe it or not. Microsoft may be more interested in acquiring a better ad revenue system.
That's a very interesting concept. Where Yahoo decided to throw exteremely annoying smiling-girl dating commercials in the mailboxes and browsers of their users, Google took a more educated approach. They decided to target the content for the user. In other words, the user is not seeing a dating commercial if they're shopping for memory in a page.
While Yahoo hasn't changed their ad model (well they have probably made the banners bigger), Microsoft may have decided that this is a good time to get the Yahoo userbase and set up a good and profitable ad revenue model. This will be good for Microsoft and the users. And the uses might appreciate the ads a lot more if they're invested in the ad business.
However, Yahoo's response was to act like a big company and refuse. They're asking the Microsoft pay even more! Another 13 billion!

Jessica Simpson
So Jessica Simpsons hasn't made the news lately.
By lately, the meaning is in the last one week. Why was her relationship with Romo so doomed. Why was everyone so upset with them vacationing? I don't understand it. What was the problem with it?
Poor girl has been making the news lately for all these different relationships. Hopefully, she'll make the album and focus on music. She can sing pretty well.
Just reading the news today it dawned on me that Jessica hadn't been mentioned for a while.

Beautiful Monday
First smell of summer. Well it's still winter but it smells like those fine spring days. The temperature is warmer and the day is dry. No sunshine but it's just fine.
Work is not all that enjoyable in a weather like this. This is an outdoorsy weather. Something to do outdoors would be nice.
Been posting a lot of YouTube vids lately. Will try to post more blogs posts with something fun to read.

New mammal species found!
So a new species is found. That is so cool. People want to explore space and all that and it is fine, but there's an entire planet that hasn't been fully explored yet! That is so amazing that God has made so many different things!

The best Database Server
Moving stuff to Oracle from SQL Server. Well, Oracle certainly has come a long way to nowhere. It is still cumbersome to use and in it's own little world. But at least Oracle would be happy because they think that they are the more robust database.
In today's world where people really don't have mass amounts of data, Oracle's supposed egde doesn't make much of a bargaining chip. SQL Server does more than fine for all the corporate needs. Most companies aren't in business long enough to have a database big enough to really cause problems. Others have backups and rollovers and database syncs and server farms to solve problems. And many really huge ones still use mainframes. So what is the point of Oracle? It has it's place but they're making it hard to let other people use the database system. By making simple things hard, they exclude a big group of people.
The TNS thing alone is a big nuisance. Any client that needs to connect must use TNS names. There's a cases where people have been able to make connections without using the TNS names entries and the oracle client. Mostly, the oracle client needs to be isntalled with all of it's MB (disk space) eating additions. Plus it needs to be configured. In a world where 2000 workstations need to do database stuff, it's not always easy to deploy the Oracle client and configure it remotely. Not to mention updates are not very easy to implement.
On the other hand if you want to hire someone who can write instructions to Oracle in bad english, and use PL/SQL instead of plain SQL or T-SQL then you'd want Oracle. If you want to have snobby DBAs who can hold up everything to their schedule, you really want Oracle.

Cold Weather
The weather has been so cold lately that getting out has not been fun. Normally, one could go out to a restaurant over the weekend or go watching a movie, but this cold has made it hard to want to leave the warm indoors.
This has also taken a toll on other fun activities. On the plus side, it has allowed me to stay home and play some guitar and get some recording done. I was actually able to record some stuff during the day with the amp mic'd instead of being DI'd.
Fun stuff, really. I wonder how cold is it in the bahamas right now. Or the other tropical places. I wonder if many people go this time of year. Maybe holidays but beginning of the year sounds a little hard since most work place would be eager to get to start working. To make money.

Heavy Music
Been looking at how to play some thrash/power metal styles. Been playing guitar for a while without focusing on any particular genre. Now been wanting to play heavy and realizing that I dont' really know how to play heavy aside from getting the heavy sounding equipment. Sure the guitar sounds like it but the playing does not. So in attempting to learn a little more, been searching proper playing styles. Want to focus more on thrash and power metal. A cool band playing pretty power metal is Skillet.

Another day in paradise.
It's a beautiful day. It's a shame it has to be spent working on some random project. Beautiful day regardless.
Some of us are working form home. Others have to work from the office. With each passing day the number of fellow employees grows smaller. The smiles on the faces turn more political and the words more charged.

What a day!
No, there is no need to start singing What a Feeling!
The day is just moving slowly. The oracle issues just don't stop. Somebody should tell oracle to move into the current century with the products.
On the other hand, the good news is that it's not raining. It's cold but not raining. Cold is still but rain is not as enjoyable. Mostly, because running to and from the car to buildings gets you a little wet. If working from home, the rain is actually quite enjoyable.
To quote a whole country: Ciao!

SQL Server vs. Oracle
So we wrote some pretty involved code for a project. It was using SQL Server 2000. There was all kinds of .NET controls that use the SQLDataSource component. All of a sudden at the last minute the requirement was changed to use Oracle 9.2. Now you would think simply changing the connection string would good to set all things pointing to Oracle.
Well! You'd be wrong!
The SQLDataSource component need to be specifically told the client type is Sql.OracleClient and it won't just read the correct configuration from the config file.
So all the code needs to re-examined. All test cases need to re-run.
Not to mention all schemas need to be regenerated in Oracle. And of course, Oracle doesn't do anything the easy or nice way. So that'll be who knows how long spent trying to fix this.

Franchitti Wins Rain-Shortened Indy 500 - Forbes.com
Of all the people, the winner was Dario Franchitti?
What an Indy500! Nothing wrong with Dario Franchitti winning. Was just not rooting for him. I was personally hoping for Danica to cross the final yard. If not her then Kanaan. But, oh well. Danica raced well. So did Kanaan. Kanaan raced good enough to where he could've only been beaten by a better strategy. He had skill, faster car, better car, and a good strategy. But then the last pit stop, and then the little loss of control incident left him pretty far behind. He could've caught given enough time. Danica's pit crew was a little slower but she could've still had a shot if the rain hadn't come down when it did. Dario took a real big risk and I guess it paid off.
Good race for Davey Hamilton placing in the top 10 while restarting his career.
Oh well, there's always next year!

Fast Enough?
So I went for an oil change. 4000 miles overdue, inspection expired and check engine light on. I do take care of the car.
Anyway, Valvoline staff did all the work in less than ten minutes. I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. That was impressive!
But is that fast enough? :)

Sharon - A dual headerliner!
Out of a total of 8 news headlines on Yahoo's front page, 2 were about Sharon (Israeli PM) this morning. Wow! That's pretty huge when there are two different articles about the same person and both make the headlines.
Or maybe just a slow day for news? Nah, the reporters can always find somebody's personal life to ravage if all else fails. This really is big!
I hope Sharon makes it! I hope he gets back to the job. I hope he recovers 100% and gets back to the gov't. I hope God will strengthen him.

New Year
Well, the new year is around the corner. No special plans. No plans to go out and party all night. No plans to go get totally drunk. No plans to even hang out at some bar/cafe. Just sitting home and enjoying the downtime.
Gotta go back to work on the 3rd. So really trying to stay home as much as possible and just do nothing. This also is a gift from God. The time, I mean, to just sit around. :)
Might even have to fly out of town in the first week of the new year. The boss is kinda ticked that the pet project of the company isn't taking off any faster. Well, all tried and if it don't move, it don't move, chico! (How's that for a sentence loaded with commas - of which most are unnecessary or incorrectly placed, I'm sure).
Well, off I go to have something to eat and do something else.

Long Time
It's been a while since I blogged. Sometimes, things just keep happening and work just keeps piling up and one starts making more acquaintances and even a couple of friends and before long, blogging is on the back burner.
Well, I had some time tonite and decided to redesign some and to fix up the format a little more to my liking and to make an entry, while I'm at it.
Christmas came and went. Another year come and gone. And what have we done. In our own little areas where we promised ourselves that we'd focus more, did we? That's one thing that I generally think about more around the holidays and around birthdays and so on. As times moves on, there has to be positive changes. Life is a gift from God and it should be treated as such with thanksgiving to God and an effort to spend it more according to His will. :)

Problem: I have a remotable object. This object has events. The server serves the object just fine. The client also creates the object just fine. Just when I try to add an event handler to the object, all sorts of exceptions come alive within mscorlib.exe. First, it's about some security level. Which was fixed by manually adding BinaryServerFormatterSinkProvider and setting .TypeFilterLevel to System.Runtime.Serialization.Formatters.TypeFilterLevel.Full.
Now, I have a really weird issue. The exception says, "Cannot find file. Culture info. blah blah blah blah"
After Googling half the internet and reading just about everybody's projects, I find that Microsoft is _maybe_ achnowledging this to be an issue and recommending a "sit a little to the left of the spinach stain on this couch after 12pm" approach.
This is just insane. Microsoft chose to implement this in the most bizzare way. Cool and new features promised by Microsoft keep varying in size and functionality between different releases. End result? No one wants to use any thing that hasn't been around for at least 10 years.
Forget the rant. This issue is just seemingly impossible to fix. Sure, Microsoft has a recommended work around on their website somewhere but it's just over my head at the moment. I am gonna have to sit and read it carefully this evening and then implement.

Boring
Well, I went to sleep pretty early last nite. About 9pm or so. So, only naturally, all nite long I kept waking up for stupid reasons such as: it's too hot, I haven't changed sides in 5 minutes and so on. Close to 5am or so, I was exhausted from having stayed up most of the nite because of stupid reasons, so I really fell asleep.
This means that in the morning, I was late for work. Of course. No surprise there. Just one of those givens in life. Taxes, blah blah and being late for work. It's all just so.

Now that's a cool house. The price is a little steep but since this is in the area where a lot of media professionals buy, it should be easy to afford for most people interested in buying a house there. :)

You see, one doesn't have to have all the knowledge stored in their brain all the time. You can however know how to locate useful information quickly. With the Internet becoming more ubiquitous, it is better to know how to locate needed information faster. Similarly, other sources of information are more readily available today.
Thus it's better to not _be_ the encyclopedia but to know how to use it best for your purpose.

Ah, the Google Talk. It's the IM from Google. Works over existing open-source IM protocols and can work with multiple existing clients.

Been using it all day. Didn't miss Yahoo messenger. Yahoo is good at what it does. But it's cluttered with the Radio, news, weather stuff, games, and so on. Google Talk is a simple client - to the point. Allows simple one click access to Gmail Inbox and allows emailing contacts with one click.
I'm pretty much thinking about moving to this client exclusively. :)

Jose Avila recently found himself in just that predicament. Although he has a good job as a software developer, he's locked into two rents after moving to Arizona, and has no extra cash for an Ikea shopping spree. But instead of scouting street corners for a ratty, unwanted couch, Avila got creative and built an apartment full of surprisingly sturdy furniture -- out of FedEx shipping boxes.
Fanciful as his creations may seem, FedEx is not amused. The shipping giant's lawyers have sent Avila letters demanding he take down the site he created to document his project, invoking, among other things, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (.pdf), or DMCA.
Avila has outfitted his entire apartment with FedEx box designs, including a bed, a corner desk with wall shelves, a table, two chairs and a couch. Drawing from architecture and drafting classes he took in college, Avila has designed pieces that are surprisingly un-boxy.
He was blindsided by the cease-and-desist letter from the company to which he proclaims long-standing loyalty.
"I was surprised, actually," Avila said. "One thing I’ve always stood behind is I'm pro-FedEx. I ship stuff with FedEx all that time and I feel more comfortable shipping with FedEx because their boxes are stable and sturdy."

Design Documents
Ah, the software engineering cycle. Application develoment cycle. All the documentation that goes along! Just fun!
Is NOT!
I've been working on a Design Document for a project. The technical writer side of me says it better be good. The technical side of me says, it better be a good Design Document and other developers should be able to look at this document and engineer the solution. The practical side of me says, since the business doesn't really respect the technical writing and always wants things done their way, which is "how they've always done it", why should I bother? The practical side also says, just get it done and put it out there. Since I'll be the one developing with another developer who already knows the details, we won't really have to come back to the Design Document and criticize it.
You see, this is all part of the new process we're following. We have a process that we try to follow for each project and this process addresses each step of software engineering cycle. Documentation, design, implementation, testing and all. How ever this causes our time estimates to be thru the roof. Which could be a good thing for us.
When all is said and done, I wouldn't buy a solution from me if I saw one of my estimates. What a jerk!

Hitch?
Just saw the movie Hitch. I liked it a lot. It had a really funny tone to it. For the most part the idiot was played by the guy from "King of Queens" or whatever that show is. Although even Will Smith played the idiot a little in the end when he didn't understand the girl he was in love with.
Both actors just did a really really good job of handling this movie. I liked the girl also but I don't recognize her. Some parts of the movie could be called slightly cheesy by a few people but for the most part it was a straight love/comedy movie that just did a really good job.
I enjoyed it while I was watching and didn't have any of those moments where you would go take a restroom break without pausing the movie.
Also saw The Pacifier with Vin D. That one was also pretty good. Although not in the same league as Hitch but it was funny and lighthearted enough to be fun overall. Some bits of the movie were a little annoying or just plain too much but overall it's a fun watch. It has a very light mood overall.
And that wraps up this unofficial two-word review.

Be Cool?
Just watched "Be Cool". Would have been a great movie if it had stuck to the original story in the book and if it didn't preach black-ism at every turn.
Don't get me wrong, discrimination is unacceptable and I do believe in equality of all people. But sometimes a movie is just a movie and a story is just a story. We cannot turn all stories, songs, events, movies, and make them politically correct.
The original story also called for a rock 'n roll band trying to make it big. But here it's a big hip-hop artists that starts out making an initial appearance with the rockers Aerosmith. Exposure to one audience made the girl big with a totally different audience? Brilliant. :)
Also interestingly ridiculous was the fact that Cedric The Entertainer was pretty racist in his comments and attitude to the russians all the while preaching about how the black people are a part of white American and how people should thank them and how he is tired of people not appreciating the black man. Come to think of it, he didn't really talk about equality of all people at this point that much.
Well that's political correctness for you today: Black people can insult anyone and talk about anyone anyway, the brown people can also do so, the asians can also do so but the minute the white people open their mouth, it's judged as being discriminatory. If not discriminatory by direct comment then by exclusion of all things that are not typical American things. It is explained that most typical American things (traditions, ideas) are white only because that's what's been pushed on the society as a whole. Now that would have been a little believable if my Rolling Stone magazines weren't full of rock 'n rollers such Mariah Carey and JayZ and LL Cool J. Or Eminen. A lot of specialty culture (meaning culture observed by few people in real life) is being pushed down people's throats in the name of equality and political correctness and nobody really knows any better because most people only want to be cool and will follow whatever latest trends seems to be. Case in point, J.Lo's ridiculously front-missing dress that is now a must at every award show.
Overall, the movie seemed to have a racial agenda that really made the movie lack the original fun and cool factor of Get Shorty.
That's why I like Will Smith. He gets on the screen, he delivers an amazing performance and keeps all political, judicial, racial, religious, social, and all other issues out of it. He may use his fame and recognition to support different causes but he doesn't have roles that hijack the movie or the performance itself and start preaching. Chris Rock is also really cool about that.
Anyhoo, I'm gonna hope Mr. and Mrs. Smith is as much fun as I it's supposed to be. :)

Christmas!
So the Christmas is come and gone. Well the Christmas season isn't really gone until after the new year's day. But the 25th is come and gone. It was a lot of fun. Going to church. Meeting different people. Meeting people never met before or not met in a long time, was OK. Celebrating the birthday of Jesus was fun. Learning something from it all was fun.
Didn't see many decorations. It's the decoration nazis turning this place into a monotonous, one-colored, alloted number of lights per house boredom. Because the Christmas tree offends people, for no reason other than the fact that they are not christian, it is removed. Or sometimes just renamed as a community tree. Never mind, that the Christmas is a christian celebration!
Anyway, just figure I'd update the blog. Not very many people read it. But hey, that's not why I have a blog. It's just so I can put my thoughts out there. :)

UI Overhaul
Well, a major UI overhaul is underway. I am just not finding a good enough template to work with. So I may have to design a new one. Of course in the process the IE users and Mozilla based browser users will experience the two extremes brought about by incorrect implementation of CSS. The best way to do two columns and get uniform results in all browsers is to use tables.

Some idiot politicians would just love to ruin as much as they can simply because of a misconception they have that disagreeing with everything makes them look smarter. I own a timber company?

So Kerry didn't wanna respond to that? Does Bush own a timber company or not?
I'm not sure exactly who will be considered the winner of this debate. But I think Kerry is starting to lose his footing. Not to mention he contradicted himself at least one time that I noticed. He answered the question one way but then went on to say that he believed and would support the opposite of that. Only if I can remember what issue it was.
The abortion response bothered me from Kerry in terms of leadership quality. He believes its wrong because he believes that life begins at conception. Then it really is not a matter of forcing your opinion on others. Then it's a matter of protecting life. And as the president, the leader, he will just stand by and let people kill others. What kind of conviction is that? He does believe that a life is being taken but he cannot force that opinion on others. If you can't stand up for what you believe in, how can you represent others? How can you defend what others believe in if you don't have the guts to defend what you believe in?
Kudos to Bush for delivering a much better performance that the last time (which I only read about). Down here in TX, we should all be rooting for Bush!

New Blog (Errrrr..... New Entry)
It's almost Friday. I can almost smell the friday in the air. One more day of faking work and then it's two days of actually not working. Unless sitting on the couch is work.
But then again, recording such awesome music as can make my colleagues bang their heads could also be called work.
Or driving out to buy all flavors of chips is also work. All mentos flavors and cigarettes.
Seriously though, I am just so glad to have a couple of days off. I just can't figure out a way yet to not have to have a fulltime job instead of working as a contractor or parttime jobs. All this with some financialy security, of course.
Maybe I should start a new search engine. The next unpatented word out of babytalk is gaga-goo-goo-gablable. Unless that has also been used to define a completely uninspired and useless mathematical concept by an equally uninspired mathematician!

Another Vice?
Drinking, smoking, cussing, or laziness - people have many vices. Now it would seem that blogging might become one of mine. Why, the time I spend fixing this site's template alone would make me a millionaire if I spend that kind of time on a business or at least a business plan.
But this world is not full of practical people. The world is full of people who have big intentions. Having big intentions is not necessarily synonymous with having big plans. It just means someday a lot of people will do something great. Today is, however, just another day. If only....
Anyway, spent a lot of time playing the piano and then the guitar. Still feeling bored though. I need to find a hobby. Not something as laborous as gardening. Something more like.... Wine Tasting. Or perhaps joining a book club (no, I'm not saying that because of Joey and the book club). Or maybe practicing guitar with a real band. Something that will allow me to get out but not mean a lot of work.

Bush Or Kerry
Oh, the debate! First off, I didn't watch the debate. Wait, so am I still eligible to talk about it. Yes! Because that's all I've read all day in the news. So I should be able to get my $0.02 in.
Oh Bush is so childish and Kerry is so smart! It's true that Bush is not well polished and he is not the most eloquent speaker. And there's many other things that he is not. Suffice it to say that he's not the first person that comes to mind when you hear the word "refined."
Kerry on the other hand has the package. The smug expression. The forceful personality. The right gestures (of course both candidates were criticized on their body language, but still). He knows when to smile. He can comb his hair before getting in front of the press. And so on. However, he's also not the first things that comes to mind when you hear the word "refined." He is the first things that comes to mind, however, when you hear the words "empty can". Afterall he has the loudest rattle.
I shall liken him unto an onion. He shows a lot of promise. But you can keep peeling and peeling, you will only find more to peel. He can't even commit to the democratic agendas for crying out loud. I mean sure he can take shots at Bush now (during the campaign), but is he planning on doing anything useful if elected? Or is he just going to keep slandering Bush for his entire term of 4 years? Anybody who votes for Kerry should at least ask themselves why they're throwing their vote away. I mean if you do have the right to vote, that in itself is worth nothing unless exercise properly.
Now, if we can get past the appearances, do we even know which candidate is going to do what for the people? Not really. It's good enough to hear them say what they're going to bring to the table. Why bother finding out on our own? Why look into these people's past record. That would be too much work. After the debate Leno will have insightful commentary, afterall. That oughta be enough.
I don't agree with many things Bush has done but he has tried. He has a good character. He is fighting for something. He has a goal in mind. Kerry, on the other hand, has open-ended plans for every major issue dogging the people today. I'm sure if in a hypothetical world he was elected, he would probably sail clear of making any major decisions. He is the kind of person that will spend 4 years socializing with the UN and the EU.
I think people should decide whether they want a poster boy or somebody who will at least try to make things better.

Is everybody blogging now?
Well, it would appear so. Is that a good thing? Not necessarily. If everyone has a blog and each blog has a ton of "crap", then soon people will be avoiding blogs. Others will develop solutions to block all blogs from displaying on your computer and want to sell those to you. And then the internet will break! Nah, the internet is just fine for the moment.
Anyway, everybody having a blog could be a good thing, too. Everyone is able to say what they want but behave as a responsible netizen and don't spam others with website-hit-solicitations. And that's pretty much the way it is right now.
Although mine would still be a boring blog. 'Coz I would still not have any interesting to say. Or if I find something interesting the post won't be coherent enough for five consecutive lines to draw a reader in. I could hide subliminal message behind the text tho....
Or I could just go to sleep on time for a change so I can wake up in the morning on time. :)

New Show
The new Joey show is pretty OK. I can't seem to decide whether I like Joey's sister or not. She's normal sometimes and then she's absolutely crazy at other times. Joey is his same stupid self. Funny too. Although, he should do some growing up since he doesn't have all the friends looking out for him. If he's gonna end up having his sister look out for him, that's would be no character development.
I should not analyze all that much. It's just a show anyway.

Tick Tock
My brother was just talking to one of our cousins and they were talking about some other cousin being old. They decided 25 was old but the one my brother was talking to is 27. This just reminds me that I'm 27.
Well, 18 and life starts. You have dreams. You're fresh in college and you got this whole parking lot full of dreams and goals and ambitions. Then 21 hits. The rest is just clock works. It's just tick tock. The years they just tick tock. Man, I'm 27! What worries me is that I still enjoy programming and spending time on the computer. I am a real geek. *sheesh*
Well, we hope and then we pray and we just march on. Come to think of it, that is all we _can_ do. :) But is that all we're supposed to do?

MDX - 2
So the MDX issue was fixed after installing VS.NET2003. My code didn't work but the Samples worked just fine. So I started inspecting the sample code and found that I was initializing my Device differently. Not same but correct nonetheless, mind you, since the MSDN is where I got the documentation. Anyway, after synching my code with the samples, it worked fine.
I have to sit down and write code to read and parse a WAVE file and display a graph of it in the editor. After that I can load in multiple WAVE files and just play them all at the same time. Next comes recording but that is already done. Editing and playing WAVE files in the right place would be the biggest challenge of this endeavor.
Too much code related talk.

MDX
Been trying to get Managed DirectSound sample with the DX9.0c SDK to work. They're just not working. SecondaryBuffer.play keeps returning "Error in the Application". Geez, could you scale back on the amount of information returned? I can't handle that much detail?
On the other hand, the VC++ 7.0 sample all work.
The DX9 installation is ok, then. Just the MDX samples don't work. Wrote code from scratch. Same problem. If it will just work.
Or I could just use the VC++ 7.0 and write wrapper classes and then use the classes in C# over interop. That's just too much work. Maybe I should just do my whole app in VC++ 7.0. Be smart and learn to deal with MSVC++ once again. Or I could just do another application. :)

Fixed?
Well, I think I fixed the customer's issue with the software that we delivered. So now, I pray it doesn't come back with another issue 'coz this customer is just finding one issue after another. First they sign off on a document saying they want what's stated in the document. Then they report one of the features as defect. Then they escalate to upper upper management that the defect software is not being fixed. Once they got my company to break the convention of rubbing the Func. Spec. in their face, they have been bringing up one non-issue after another non-issue.
Maybe my company should get a spine. How much would one of those be going for on eBay? I wonder.
Have been slow at guitar practice lately. Still haven't started looking for practice mates. Been planning on that for more than a year now. Just sitting back and messing with the computer at home.
